Human CSPG4 / MCSP Protein, His Tag (MALS verified)
Human CSPG4, His Tag (CS4-H52H3) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Ala 30 - Ser 2224 (Accession # Q6UVK1-1).
Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4,also as knowed melanoma-associated chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan (MCSP) is a chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan that in humans is encoded by the CSPG4 gene. CSPG4 plays a role in stabilizing cell-substratum interactions during early events of melanoma cell spreading on endothelial basement membranes. It represents an integral membrane chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan expressed by human malignant melanoma cells.
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 238.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 210-250 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
